Eagles Participate in Star-Studded Charity Game

The Edinburgh Eagles are incredibly proud to announce that two players will be involved in a charity game between the Sheriffs Ice Hockey club and the Scottish Alumni held at Dundee Ice Arena on 19th August to aid the Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) and the StopConcussions Foundation.

CHAS is the only charity in Scotland that provides vital hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. For more information on CHAS, click here.

Founded by Kerry Goulet and Keith and Wayne Primeau, StopConcussions has been designed to educate players, administrators, physicians, coaches and officials on the cause, effects, and consequences of concussions and neurotrauma injuries, not only in hockey but all sports. For more information on the StopConcussions Foundation, click here.

Zack Abrams and Chris Tung will be participating in this game as part of the Sheriffs Ice Hockey Club. The Sheriffs Ice Hockey club will include the likes of ex-NHL players such as Sandy McCarthy (Calgary Flames), Dwayne Hay (Calgary Flames), and George Laraque (Montreal Canadiens) (pictured below).

Ticketing and more information can be found at SheriffsIceHockey.com. Donations to the charities can be made in the links provided above.
